Perfectly chewy peanut butter and white Miso cookies with a combination of salty, Unami, nutty and caramel like flavours. These unique cookies are very moreish with a perfectly crunchy texture on the outside that contrasts perfectly with the incredibly gooey chewiness on the inside. Yes it's unusual to put Miso into a cookie recipe but trust me this adds a slightly savoury yet very irresistible taste paired with the peanut butter, dark brown sugar and vanilla extract. Make sure to use white Miso but if you only have brown Miso then use just 3 tbsp instead of 1/3 cup.
Simple and delicious stewed apples and raisins with loads of warming cinnamon and ginger spices and sweetened with maple syrup and a hint of vanilla extract and a splash of whiskey if desired.
The apples are simmered for 20 minutes util softened and turn a dark golden brown and release their sweet flavour and the water, apple cider vinegar and lemon juice, maple syrup and whiskey thicken in the cooking process and coat the apples in a syrupy glaze.
You can serve this with yoghurt or ice cream and sprinkle some nuts over like flaked almonds, pecans or walnuts.
Homemade extra crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside buttermilk chicken wings with heaps of spices such as cayenne pepper to add some heat, onion and garlic and oregano to add loads of flavour.
This recipe is easy enough to make, delicious and pairs perfectly with the homemade sour cream and buttermilk Ranch dressing!
Delicious creamy caramel ice cream swirled with a rich fudgey salted caramel sauce. This recipe does take a long time to make... the custard needs to be left overnight in the fridge but the result is amazing and much more delicious than store brought.
Crispy breaded chicken Schnitzel that is golden and crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside and full of garlic and paprika flavour. This recipe is so easy to put together and amazingly simple yet tastes incredibly delicious.

Classic whiskey sour with simple syrup , whiskey, lemon juice and one egg white.
The original whiskey sour was made using egg white and in my opinion tastes best. The trick to a great whiskey sour is to dry shake the egg and lemon juice together first without ice to create that foamy meringue like topping to the cocktail and then add the ice before shaking all ingredients together.
Incredibly moreish cranberry, oat and walnut cookies that are perfectly soft and churchy on the inside and beautifully golden and crispy on the outside.
Such an easy recipe that takes just a few minutes in the oven, is much better than store brought cookies and better for you too.
Make sure not to overbake these cookies, you only need 10-12 minutes in the oven as they will harden as they cool down.
Crunchy grated red cabbage, carrot and apple salad topped with some chopped pecans and fresh coriander that comes together with a zingy mustardy, apple cider vinegar and olive oil dressing. This is a salad I find myself making often as it goes so well with a lot of dishes, is wonderfully colourful and healthy and so versatile; I sometimes add in pumpkin seeds, walnuts, bell peppers, celery or other similar crunchy nuts or vegetables I have ready to use up in my kitchen.
