½ cup butter, softened to room temperature ½ cup light brown sugar ⅓ cup granulated sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 & 1/3 cup plain flour ½ tsp baking soda ½ tsp salt 1 cup dark chocolate chips
11) Preheat the oven to 180C and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
2) In a large bowl cream together the butter and sugars until combined. Whisk the egg and add to the bowl along with the vanilla extract, whisk for about one minute.
3) In a separate bowl mix combine the flour, baking soda and salt. Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix together using a spatula. Add in the chocolate chips and mix well
4) Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon (about 3 tbsp per scoop) to form small cookie balls and place evenly apart on the baking sheets. Place in the oven for 12-13 minutes then remove and leave to cool and harden for at least 15 minutes.
