Spaghetti Puttanesca

Here's a classic Italian recipe and so easy and quick to put together you just simply cook the onion, garlic cloves, some chilli flakes and anchovies all in a pan with peeled tomatoes for 20 minutes. Top with parmesan cheese, capers, olives and some parsley.

 400 g spagetti
 3 tbsp olive oil
 1 onion, medium
 3 large garlic cloves
 ½ tsp chili flakes
 8 anchovy fillets, chopped
 3 tbsp capers
 400 g can chopped tomatoes
 ½ cup black olives
 parsley for garnish
 parmesan for serving

1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water with a drizzle of olive oil for about 12-15 minutes or according to the packets instructions.

2.Place the onion and garlic in a pan with olive oil over medium heat for 5 minutes or until golden brown.. Add in the anchovies , chilli flakes and capers. Turn the heat down and cook for about 5 minutes.
