Energy Balls

These energy balls are high in protein, fibre, healthy fats and omega 3. Not only are they nutritious, they taste great too! Such a great on the go snack and couldn't be easier to make.

 1 cup oats
 ½ cup walnuts
 2 tbsp cocoa powder
 6 medjool dates
 2 tbsp agave syrup
 ½ tsp salt
 1 tbsp flaxseed
 1 tbsp chia seeds
 2 tbsp peanut butter
 34 tbsp water
  cup coconut flakes

1. Pulse all ingredients (except for the coconut flakes) in a food processor until broken down to form a paste like ball.

2. Between the palms of your hands roll about 10-12 individual small bite size balls.

3. Roll the balls in the coconut flakes to decorate then leave in the fridge for 1-2 hours to harden. These can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days.
