Welcome to Wild In The Kitchen!

This space is shaped by two worlds — growing up in Dublin, Ireland, and my years spent in Paris. In my early twenties, I worked in a French restaurant by the Champs-Élysées — a kitchen as demanding as it was inspiring. Long days and high standards taught me the beauty of culinary technique: from browning butter to perfecting sauces, mastering knife work, and layering flavours with precision and care. Some of the recipes shared here are inspired by those years in Paris, a few even borrowed from the French chef who taught me so much.

But the heart of this space is also rooted at home in Ireland. Family traditions live on through recipes like my grandmother’s apple pie— comforting, soulful, and timeless. Together, these influences create the essence of Wild In The Kitchen: Irish comfort woven with French passion, always cooked with care and love.

I truly believe you are what you eat, and that food should be prepared with respect, made wholesome, and most importantly- taste absolutely delicious. My hope is that the recipes you find here bring as much joy and nourishment to your table as they have to mine.
